In the next week or two, I hope to integrate forums into the website. Hopefully this will provide a venue for people to discuss the latest and greatest about car2go.

A major design overhaul is almost complete! The new layout is a bit more spiffy and user friendly. It will also lay the groundwork for the integrated forum that is coming soon. Any thoughts or suggestions, feel free to shoot us a message.

So the main design outline is pretty much done. There is still a need for some heavy tweaking, but that will come later. The important thing now is to beef up content a bit.

The Map page is now good to go. I have integrated Kalun’s car finder. Based on your location, it will show you available vehicles.

Wow. I have had the idea for “car2love” for over 2 months. This evening, I finally sat down and created a simple design, slapped together some code, and began writting content.

So, what is car2love?
In brief, the site will be an unofficial car2go news site for North America (and any other English speaking cities). This will be a venue to communicate information that is either not on the car2go website or poorly explained / hard to find.

Why is it named car2love?
I played around with a few names, but this one is the simplest, and easiest to remember. Also, using “car2go” anywhere in the name is a trademark violation and may cause problems down the road.

What’s the plan?

I have split this up into a few different phases. Each phase will depend on how much time I (or other contributors) have.
